- (there isnt a soul cage design™, soul cage is made to match lich’s soul so itll be out of place)
- Surgery on a xep
- In old vid game shop
- Voz, korr, the cleric guy Kathano, ragash
- Ragash provides saranwrap, to make sure that xep doesnt bleed everywhere
- Korr “drinks? I have some painkillers if that’s your vice.”
- As: no thanks
- “Youre a good person asper”
- Cleric man strangles xep, falls unconscious
- She cuts him open, nat 1 initially, oops kills xep
- Strangles xep again, he fucking Hates xep
- Asper better assists korr, she routes around in his body
- Organs look oddly ordinary to asper
- To miku, she notices that parts of xep have become a relay. Xep isnt a soul cage but relays the souls to a secondary location
- This one’s receptors are fried, it cannot absorb or transmit souls

- Ripley doesnt know how he recognized the xep as a xep despite them being 100 years oldish

- Al: after everything thats gone down, i still have no idea what ur major is.
- R: anthropologist/archaeologist. I like to learn abt ancient cultures, find connections. Kinda all abt forging connections. I havent done a good job but id like to try to have us get along
- Siryu hunts down asper

- Meiko walks over, holds up a performance review for Kaito. Written by his bodyguard, which says only exemplary things
- “Youre the only one stupid enough to leave a bad review.”

- She slaps the miku head
- “Eight. Hand sanitizer.” gets sanitized
- Almado knight kneels, she turns back
- “You needant worry, he wont do anything.” (he has to stay there until dismissed)
- M: is it normal to kick ur bodyguards?
- “God no. mine are all wonderful. And this one is wonderful to you?”
- M: i think hes been a good friend but he keeps secrets from me :( he finally told me abt the replacement thing but only under duress and i think hes hiding smth else but he wont tell me :(

- Eleanor Forte is the Aedryn Vocaloid. She’s been around since the “failed launch” of Miku which was postponed until after the other CV0 models. Launched miku finally after Luka. Around the time of 02’s launch they released Eleanor Forte

- “We can feel emotions stronger than most people. With proper reward pathways that allow us to create music. While most people need adolescence, we can make music after 2 years. While a human typically needs 30+ years to release a magnum opus
- Basically vocaloids are super bipolar and have a regulator so it doesn’t hurt too too bad

- “You can cry u just have to learn at normal human speed. Vocaloids learn at an accelerated human speed.

- 26: we were not in the proper headspace and were struggling to maintain our focus. It was not ideal but we will hope and endeavor to do better should we encounter them

- 26: perhaps- we would appreciate that.
- “My understanding is theyre in aedryn receiving accommodations from the aedryn president if you want to meet with them.”
- 26: we’d expect nothing less from them. Perhaps we will wait until we have more news to share, it would not be worth it at this point
- “ZLD recently started working with us. After all they won the tournament to work with the head of R&D. Who, as u know, is overall in charge of Muse
- M: almado didnt tell us
- Almado gets smacked by a pahtra meiko

- M: miku thinks he deserves a 2nd chance

- She approaches almado, hand on back of head, moves mouth down to shoe

- “Be nice to miku. Or else the career might be over. Do you know that theyre trying to open a new Remembrance Streams? Lots of labor will be needed soon. You seem a strong lad.”

- She approaches the other 3, bows, they bow back
- Ripley goes and tries to get her autograph
- One meiko bodyguard holds up a hand, he walks off to the side, pats down ripleys tome to see if theres a bomb
- He hands it to her so she can sign, she does, then leaves
